Nokia and Intel to Develop Wimax

    Nokia Corp and Intel said they will collaborate on the development of WiMAX, a wireless technology that is an alternative way to deliver both stationary and mobile Internet access at high speeds... The alliance is aimed at refining WiMAX for mobile devices such as laptop computers, mobile handsets and network base-stations... The news is pretty kick ass, bringing the idea of having broadband internet access anywhere, BUT I'd like to know how much is freakin' costs before even considering this a leap forward... If you take the cost of cell phone usage X the cost of broadband internet access from home + the cost of a Caramel Frappacino (who else is going to use it or be able to afford the technology, other than your typical Starbucks patron) = Too much for my broke ass...More Info
